I wasn't on dA since I posted my last journal, so I apologize for not responding to those who left very kind words. I read them all and I appreciate it. I'm still feeling a little 'blah', and unfortunately I don't think I'd be able to get back to you. Yes, that journal was 100% legit, NOT meant to draw attention to myself. (Because a ton of people in this neighbourhood like to accuse us of doing such things)

I will be short in saying that I've been feeling down because I've been hounded by family. End of story.

I did find this quiz on someone's page though and I decided to pass the time filling it out. Be aware that though these characters may also be Invader Zim fan characters, this quiz pertains specifically to the Original Character versions of them.

A dozen… I think that’s about enough. There are quite a few missing but they haven’t made their debuts on dA yet. Reemaja is missing here because she still needs work in becoming an OC rather than an IZ FC.

2) Who is your favorite OC?

Zylix Right off the bat, it’s him. His mind is so freaking complex I have to wonder just how messed up my own mind is. Albeit he’s a little underrated, maybe because he’s extremely quiet for RP standards, but when in action he’s a great pawn.

I can’t say I’m playing favourites either Even if he was my first IZ FC and was then pushed aside until I gave him a human form… No, I was playing favourites when Luka hogged the spotlight.

3) Who is your least favorite?

Luka .__. Sorry to say it, but he is. Can’t say he’s even mine anymore. I can’t do much with him, I can’t do as I please with his story…

4) Who is your most developed?

Er… Zy, I think. Luka’s pretty developed as well, but not the way I would have liked for him to be.

Zylix had been sitting on the backburner for quite some time, and it wasn’t until Larz showed up (an FC during that time) that he began to tug at my attention. Once Larz and Zylix became full out OCs of mine, Zylix’s criminal attributes suddenly took on new ambitions and deeper reasoning. Not to mention Larz’s character grew as well. Once I had made them into OCs, Zylix seemed to take the wheel (which is an ironic idiom because he can hardly drive XD).

What I really admire about how Zylix has developed is that he’s stayed true to who he was originally, but his story as an OC is not parallel to his story as an FC, which allows him not only a TON of room to move, but also keeps him from being bound by his FC roots. If he were bound by those roots as an FC, his development as an OC would have suffocated and gone six feet under.

5) Which OC would you want to date if they magically came to life?

Ooh, that’s a toughie. Hmm… Tark or Larz, I’d have to say. Here’s why:

Tark, here on dA, has probably come off as a through and through asshole. He’s not. He’s actually very loyal to what he believes, protective of his friends, and likes to go out and find entertainment in life. Granted, that entertainment usually involves stupid stunts (especially when he’s drunk)… And on the flip side he’s hard-headed, stubborn, he tends not to think twice before he says or does anything, and often jumps to conclusions. Let it be known that he’s not the stereotypical bully with a sob story excuse for his abusive ways, because he’s not even a bully to begin with, he just has a different sense of humour. To be honest, if I wasn’t seeing someone already I’d like to date Tark because he knows how to enjoy life You’re not having fun unless you’ve got the cuts and scrapes (and possibly sprains and broken bones) to prove it, right? Tark’s my little dare devil >w< And sadly he’s underappreciated :c

Now, for Larz. He’s made his debut as an FC here on Alikatt, but on Glowstick is where he’s beginning to strut his stuff as a proud OC. A criminal, to say the least, but a total softie when compared to Zylix. His methods are still a little unknown, save for handling guns and the howdah pistol he’s kept since his grandfather had given it to him. (Go to glowstickminuet and read up on his character sheet for more info) Larz’s character qualities include his patience, positive attitude, and compassion. Zylix can surely take care of himself, but Larz does step in as the designated medic sometimes. It’s not how they met the first time, but it is how they met the second time. With the way he’s so much like a giant teddy bear it’s easy to forget he’s still a criminal and a killer. It’s EXTREMELY easy to forget that. _{But don’t worry Yani, he’s still all yours since I’m unavailable to be of competition XDD}

6) How many girl OCs do you have? Boy OCs? It OCs?

Out of this list…
Senna, Myra, Kieryn, Kay and Ali are female (5)
Sputa is referred to as a ‘she’ but she’s a spirit and therefore technically an it (1)
And the rest are mah boys *huggles them* >w< (6)

7) If you were stuck in a burning building what do you think the third OC on your list would do?

Luka? -.- Seriously? He’d call the fire department… Depending on the situation (in a one-story home versus on the fifth floor of a hotel) he miiiiight jump in to play ‘hero’ and try to save me. The less serious the situation the more likely he’d be able to have the guts to run into the building.

8) Name one thing you regret about one of your OCs.

…Do I need to answer that?

9) Which of your OCs do you think would make the best father/mother/it parent out of all your OCs and why??

Sadly, Luka wins with this one. Tark becomes a very good father, but Luka still beats him at it. Why? Tark would most likely teach his daughters how to drive the quad before they even turn ten while Luka would instead most likely keep Lio away from operating non-child-proof vehicles until he became of age. Also, Lio isn’t even related to him. Some of you may remember FC Lio, the little smeet Luka looked after. As an OC, he’s Kieryn’s son. Luka tends to be more ‘mom’ than ‘dad’ when Lio is put in his care, but he manages well. Ever since he moved out and started a life of his own, Luka’s wanted something to fill the void in his life, but he didn’t know exactly what would satisfy that mysterious longing. After Lio, Luka realizes it’s a family that would complete him. But because of the way he’s developed as a character (which was out of my control) he will never get what he wants.

10) Which of your OCs do you think will most likely be put in jail?

Zylix. No questions asked. Larz too, but Zylix takes the cake. Technically, Zy’s already been in “jail” when he and his late family were taken hostage.

11) The eighth of your OCs was put into the future! What will their job be?!?

Ali? O.o In the future… she’d probably be a forensics detective. I have no idea why, but that’s what first comes to mind. Plus, it’d make for an interesting storyline since Sputa would be nearby all the time and Ali would struggle to keep her from ruining the crime scenes with her infamous drool. AND all the while keeping Sputa a secret from everyone else.

12) Name the first OC’s catch phrase! (if they don’t have one just make one up)

“Girl Powah!” (excludes all extreme female-associated symbols including, but not limited to, flowers, horses, Barbies, butterflies, faeries, ponies, unicorns, and princesses)

Yes, Senna’s very much my Rosie the Riveter. Only she’s black And I love her to bits! I can’t wait until she develops more as my OC >w<

13) Do all your OCs live together or are they separated?

Separated XD Very much so. Zylix and Larz are in a completely different era than everyone else, and Ali and Sputa are in a universe all their own.

14) Are there any pairings that are in your OC list? (they can’t be with someone else's)

No -_- I wish. Luka falls in love with Kieryn, but not only does this create a jealousy problem, but he’s also kept at a distance by Kieryn anyway because she’s so paranoid.

In short, it’s a cute little crush that crushes Luka in the end.

15) Your seventh OC switched bodies with you for a day! How will they react at the end of the day?

Sputa would be thrilled to control a humanoid body again. She’d have trouble with speech, but she’d giggle at the wrecked kitchen full of broken ceramic plates and glass containers. Of course, at the END of the day she’d regret it all. MY stomach can’t handle ceramic and glass like hers can, so she’d be moaning and groaning in pain for quite a while. XD And then I’D be giggling. (But after I’d be very upset at her for screwing up my digestive system)

16) Your last OC just became a fifteen year old. What do they do?

Last on the list, right? Blyte at fifteen, huh? Let’s see… a 48-year-old suddenly becoming 15 again. He’d live it up, no doubt

17) Now randomly select a person on your OC list. Who was it?

Myra. >.> … “woof”

18) That OC you just chose? Yeah they think they are superman (even if they are a girl) and are on the roof about to jump off.

The house roof or a hotel roof? House roof in the winter time… Luka wouldn’t care XD There’s plenty of snow to cushion her fall.

19) Are any of your OCs bored of this meme?

20) Would your second OC prefer the beach or the mountains?

Wow, Zylix is just getting all the attention huh? Lol he’d go for the beach any day. Having been born and raised for 12 years in Mexico, he’s accustomed to the heat. Living in Russia is harsh and… not pleasant for him. He can’t stand the cold. He’s experienced maybe two or three instances of hypothermia… Luckily Larz was there to get him back to health each time but… I don’t think Zy enjoyed it one bit. XDD

21) Would your tenth OC battle a shark?

Ah! Finally Jer gets some attention!

Well, I’m not sure if he would. If anything he’s probably AFRAID of sharks, which would be ironic considering the bully-nature of his character.

22) Which OCs hate each other?

Well, since they’re separated by a good 200 years XD Zylix and Tark can’t tear each other apart like they do as FCs… Senna and Tark have a fairly mutual relationship which is basically ‘you start it, I’ll finish it.’ She has beaten him silly once.

23) Which OC did you create first? And last?

Zylix is mah first babeh cx so far my latest OC is… out of that list is Senna.

25) And if those two were fighting, who would win?

Ooh Toughie… Senna’s quite experienced in defending herself against guys and girls equally, so Zylix is faced with quite a knowledgeable opponent. (She’s trained in kick boxing) Then again he’s learned of the many key pressure points too. So if I were to take his knives from him… Sadly, Senna might win She’s taller than him too, so she’s got an advantage. BUT, that’s if it’s simply a sparring match.

If Zylix had his knives on him - therefore ‘fighting dirty’ - Senna would no doubt return the favour. She’d use her teeth and nails, aaand take advantage of certain weak spots on her opponent. Zylix certainly wouldn’t kill her, but I can see him winning. However, with no rules, I can see him suffering some very serious hits and possibly losing the upper hand before he gets it back again.

26) Are your OCs fat or skinny?

Senna’s got shape, but she’s got muscle too. She’s NOT your overly curvy helpless mary-sue. Sure, she’s got a fairly small waist and thick legs, but they're not for show; she can pack quite a lot of power in a single kick.

Zylix is fairly muscular, but he’s built more for agility and speed. Short and thin, he’s better off catching his opponent by surprise or jumping around and striking from time to time rather than to stand there and fight the good fight.

Luka’s got some muscle on him, but not much. He’s just about average, actually.

Larz… Is…. MAHSCLE! Otherwise Zylix wouldn’t be calling him Oso (Bear) all the time. He’s built for the cold (with the exception of his bad ankles). _{Quite honestly Zylix wouldn’t be so prone to hypothermia if he’d quit curling up by his small fires (that are dead by morning) and curl up against Larz instead. Ah, but we all know he won’t ever do that.}

Tark is fairly built. He’s your average athlete. Training in the military really jumpstarted his figure, and he keeps up with it even though he’s out of the service.

Kieryn was average. Little chubs maybe.

Sputa… is a spirit. She’s actually very skinny though. Her ribs and spine can be seen popping out from beneath her skin. In the more cartoony style I draw her in these features are not visible, but in a more realistic style it is much more obvious.

Ali is about the same as I am. Very little muscle, with cute chubs here and there. (Of course… she’s taller than I am )

Kay, I’ve kind of always imagined she’d be thin. She’s got a TON of energy, so no doubt her metabolism is WAY high.

Jer… I dunno yet

Myra… is a dog.

Blyte is muscular too. c: Medium, I’d say.

27) What are your first 2 OC's favorite foods?

Senna loves… and I mean LOVES pastas. She’s a little ‘meh’ about pastas with marinara sauce, but she will go gaga over other pastas.

Zylix… Food-wise I can imagine it being fish. He seizes any opportunity when he and Larz can get a hold of it. But it’s been known to me for a long time now that Zy’s got a craving for grape juice. He absolutely detests the taste of alcohol, but he could down a bottle of grape juice in no time flat. Go figure.

28) If your listed OCs were in a fight to the death, who would emerge victorious?

Oh, here we go again. It would end up in a battle between Zylix, Larz and Tark. The three would already be drenched in blood. I can imagine Tark is absolutely FURIOUS over Luka’s death, even if Zylix didn’t kill him. Larz would probably side with Zylix for the moment while Tark has at the short guy. Zylix would revert to stabbing Tark while taking sharp blows himself. Eventually I can see Tark taking advantage of an opening and elbowing Zylix in the neck, paralyzing him. Then as Zylix helplessly watches, it’s between Tark and Larz. Tark would have, no doubt, been armed with one of Zylix’s knives before Zylix went down. Tark and Larz would go at it, but I can see Larz emerging victorious with his obvious muscular advantage. Plus with his height… I mean if he can lift Zylix by the collar six inches off the ground, and with Tark about four inches taller than Zy, I’m sure Larz can still lift him by the collar and chuck him several feet. Maybe shooting Tark in the torso while the guy’s in mid-air.

Surprised? I told you it’s really easy to forget Larz is a criminal.

29) There's a zombie attack and your OCs are stranded. Who do they elect to be their leader?

Alright! x3 Left 4 dead! … Kinda :c

As much as Tark would argue to be leader, he’d end up fourth in command. Larz would be the leader, Zylix would be second in command and a translator (because of Larz’s heavy accent and broken English), Jer would be right behind Zy, leaving Tark fourth and Blyte right behind.

30) During said zombie attack, who's the first to die?

Well, since Kieryn’s already dead…

And Sputa is a spirit…

Myra, Luka, or Jer. Jer’s WAY more conceited than Tark, so he’d most likely go venture off on his own to bring back some zombie head trophy in order to go up the ranks and become leader. Myra would growl and bark like crazy, basically summoning the zombies to them. Luka would most likely die trying to protect Myra.
